Iceland

so the pictures are now up on picassa. the album is entitled iceland. I will now share with you some stories.

the decision to go to iceland was made by a nebulous cabal of law school types. basically we get a week off to do whatever while the 1ls busily construct a memo. We chose iceland b/c a guy on our bowling team said he wasn't interested in going there and we didn't want to leave him out of a place he wanted to go to. also the flights seemed cheap. we didn't realize how expensive everything would be

Rejkyavik is a very intersting city. The party doesn't really get started until 1 or 1:30 am. but then it pretty much goes all night. And then the natives who are usually very shy get very interested in Americans.

Nature is pretty cool there - and if you go be sure to check out the geothermal swimming pools which feel fantastic after walking everywhere in basically cold rainy weather. glaciers are pretty sweet too.
