go fuck yourself, andrew hayward

in other news...
i';m apparently going on some sort of environmental retreat this weekend - which is the superbowl so i'll have to get . grades just came out - i did reasonably well. i just played tennis - i did reasonably well at that too. anyway i'm going to wilson north carolina to talk to mary farr. who is the sister of the man i'm trying to free from prison. she is one crazy character. i'm pretty sure that she doesn't have a job. she talks way too fast. she knows people by their "street names" this is a segment of american society with which i am not familiar. in other news i picked up a very conservative navy business suit and a power tie. fear me. i am the establishment. i am so corporate - except for the fact that i am not applying for jobs with firms. we'll see what happens. maybe i 'll work for the government. maybe i'll take a peperoni and punch it through your skull.

I am in Sydney

I appear to have free internet access at the airport. How interesting. How bizzarre. I will be in Baltimore in ... lord knows, 30 hours or something. For four days or so. Then I hit Atl. Then back to B'more for interviews ca. the 8th. Should catch Jirgens bathroom soap at Duke when I visit. Someone said Frank is in Philly? I am supposed to visit UPENN too. Neither of the California schools seem to like me. They haven't been explicit about it, but their silence is silence-tastic. I saw this kid at the airport, asian, maybe 1.5 years old, and by god, his shoes squeaked with every step. Like rubber duckies. And I ask what led my parents astray, that I did not have the very childhood this sqeakster now lives. I was going to post some pictures of Al Gore. If anyone is bored, google some recent photos of the former Vice. He looks remarkably like jabba the hut... or somehow merged with Rush Limbaugh. His eyes have sunken into his skull and his neck is just encompassing. There are people hovering. They crave my free interweb. Do I allow them satiation? NO. I simply continue, quasi-oblivious. I met a great ex-pat. He told me Americans weren't welcome in New Zealand, though most New Zealanders were too nice to say anything. Then he flashed his tattoo, and I said "Were you in the shit, sir?" and he said, "Yeah, I was in the shit." I tried to defend 49% of America. Not an easy task.

---UPDATE---

Allright guys,
Current location: high fidelity first class traveling section. They call it the Red Carpet Club. Free drinks, free food, free liquor, free internet. Basically it's a blowjob party. I won't explain how I got in here. Suffice it to say, the admitted have blood on their hands.

important news for franky

hey mr fucile: so i'm working for the innocence project down here at duke. anyway our guy says that there's someone in philadelphia who knows who the real robber/shooter is. Anyway - you don't need to be a hero or anything - i was just wondering if you had any info on a certain address: the reputed witness MIGHT live at :
2326 North 20th street Philadelphia PA 19132 - according to google maps this is fairly close to the temple campus (i don't know if your program is removed from the campus) -maybe about 10 blocks or so northwest. Is this a good area? bad area? so yeah any info would be helpful - and if we're headed up your way to check it out we'll let you know.

A little humility

I wish you could understand how large this tree is. It is 2000 years old. Think about that for a moment. Even Tom isn't 2000 years old. Christ? on a good day, maybe.

A girth of 53.8 feet. Where can respect be earned if not in girth? The largest Kauri left standing.

It's like the Mana Tree in Secret of Mana.

And hooray for Frank the living.

if you guys ever get a chance to - definitely take a drive along the skyline drive. I saw three deers and an owl. sweet. i made nachos. i ate the nachos. i bought beer. i drank the beer. i had to spend alot of time cleaning up my appartment. there were alot of lady bugs. my shower curtain had alot of stains and mildew on it. I didn't clean it. I threw it out. I bought a new shower curtain. I asked my friends how to keep them from getting disgusting. they said to clean my shower more often. I will not clean my shower more often. interlude:

TAKE ME HOME TONIGHT
I DON'T WANT TO LET YOU GO TILL WE SEE THE LIGHT
TAKE ME HOME TONIGHT

JUST LIKE RONNIE SANG
BE MY LITTLE BABY

interlude finished. I guess i have to keep writing or it owuld have been more of an ending than an interlude even though it's not really an interlude anyway or whatever. hey hey hey if any of you guys have any money you should donate it to the duke public interest law foundation so that i can go help people/the environment/ the government this summer. it will be stupendous .... i can email you information about it oh yes information and emailing. it's dawning on me that this semester will be much more hectic cause there is more work in less time plus i have to also do this pilf auction as well as another pilf retreat and still find time for bowling and seeing the lady smith black mumbazzo thingy arrrrrrrghhhhhh

stop whining!

GreatTeacherOnizuka

This is a post.

bought a copy of A Game of Thrones and have been reading it, so maybe you'll withdraw threats of ostracization.
also reading a lot of other stuff, so no guarantees on finishing.
doing "research" in old science fiction to get background on a perhaps project.
there's a great bookstore in Fishtown that pretty much only sells pulp SF and conspiracy theory. i spend lots of money there and then it takes forever for the guy behind the counter to ring me up because they do it all by hand and for some reason he has to write down all the titles of the books on this tiny sheet of paper so he'll know what i bought. i like the ones about ancient space aliens altering the course of human civilization.
taking two classes with SF hall of famer Samuel R. "Chip" Delany this semester. [insert joke about deconstruction and queer theory]
Neil Gaiman is coming to read at Temple this spring, so i'll get to meet him. :P
Colson Whitehead has a new novel coming out in March that's apparently about band-aid companies and marketing firms or something like that. you might remember his highly-acclaimed 1999 novel about elevator inspectors. AKA Death-Drop '99

i like cheesesteaks.
