I'm leaving my job

Hey guys. Today I tendered my resignation from my job, effective in mid-late May. Hopefully if I'm making enough side-money by that point and getting enough done re: academics I can do a tour of the united states and waste time with you guys on the east coast for a while before going to Buenos Aires or Cabo San Lucas. High five!

Highpoint of the week

I had an awesome conversation with someone in my lab this week. Context: Meenu = person in my lab. Dinesh = my boss.

Me: I wish I knew when Dinesh was getting back so that I could be prepared.

Meenu: Be prepared? For what?

Me: FOR THE DEATH OF THE KING!

anonymous versus scientology

so in new york city, new have, and various places in the bay area, there were supposedly mass protests of scientology churches. did any of you guys living in these places see anything? any weirdos in guy fawkes masks? pools being closed due to thetans? unatural love of mudkips?
