not as cool as the spiderman 3 trailer, but I love the fact that Tony Stark looks like creepy pedophile.

duke basketball

i went to my first duke basketball game last night. i felt a little uneasy because i wasn't really into it. but considering that i never actually went to the university of maryland, and i actually do go to some part of the duke megaverse, it would be alright if i cheered a bit. some of the cheers are pretty fun - particularly the over enthusiastic "hi!" to the opposing players when they are announced - eg: from baltimore maryland juan dixon. HI JUAN!" also the vodoo hand shake at opponents when they inbound the ball. the bouncing up and down when duke is on defense is sometimes fun and sometimes annoying. but i have to say that camron indoor is a pretty crazy experience - there are very few venues like it left anymore. even like maryland's new comcast center - while much larger and with much nicer facilities - doesn't really compare.

however the legendary creativity of the cameron crazies? most of their cheers are just variations of "let's go duke" so not that impressed. also it was highly amuzing to see duke fans complaining about awful the refs were. oh irony!

weekend with Grandmaster

not sure if I mentioned this to anyone, but while ken was getting himself engaged and what not, I went to a park and trained Tai Chi with Grandmaster Sin Kwan The for something like 12 hours. I just found some pics of the event. they are awesome because it always looks like grandmaster is wielding a lightsaber. The symbol on the left is my schools logo. It is very badass.

also, I may have mentioned that I was wolverine for halloween. Here's is a picture of the most awesome mutton chops that were grown for the occation. I hear a rumor that Frank is now in the possession of a most excellent beard. We must see the results...
